Five stages, one senior team, and a working artefact at the end of every one — so you always know where the project stands and what it will take to finish.
A 30-minute call with the engineer who would lead the work, not a salesperson. We ask what the product has to do, what data it will run on, and what "done" means to you — then tell you honestly whether it is worth building.
We turn the conversation into a requirements document: what is in, what is out, and the assumptions the estimate rests on. Every ambiguity is written down as a question rather than guessed at.
With scope on paper we agree how the work is shaped — a fixed-scope project, a monthly retainer, an audit first, or pay-as-you-go hours. The model follows the scope, never the other way round.
Before code, a roadmap and a clickable prototype you can put in front of real users. For AI work this is where we prove feasibility against your actual data — a running proof of concept, not a slide about one.
Two-week cycles, each ending in working software on staging and a written report. Design, development and testing run together, and the handover material is written as we go — not after.
| Compare | AI readiness audit | Fixed-scope project | Retainer | Pay as you go |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Best when | The idea is clear but the data is not | The first version is well defined | Work is steady and ongoing | Needs are small, varied or unpredictable |
| Scope | One question, one report | Fixed at proposal; changes priced | Agreed monthly hours, planned with you | Task by task, as needs come up |
| Team | 1 senior AI engineer | Lead + 1–3 engineers, designer as needed | A consistent team that knows your product | Engineers matched to each request |
| Billing | Fixed price on delivery | Milestones, typically 3–4 | Fixed monthly retainer | Hourly, for time actually used |
| Typical start | 1–2 weeks | Within 2 weeks of sign-off | 1–2 weeks | Within a week |
| You end up with | A decision you can defend | A shipped product and a date met | Reliable capacity at a predictable cost | Expert help only when you need it |
| Book an audit | Scope a project | Start a retainer | Get started |
Tell us what you're building. We'll read it before the call, so the 30 minutes go on your problem rather than introductions.
